Trumba is enterprise software, built for universities, health systems, and government agencies — and priced accordingly, starting at $99.95 a month.
We're not a neutral party — Hunt Calendars is ours — so here's a plain side-by-side, including where Trumba is the better fit. This comparison is really a question of scale: some organizations genuinely need what Trumba sells. Many more are a department, club, or church paying enterprise prices for a calendar.

Where Trumba is the better fit
- You're an institution, not a group. A university with dozens of departmental calendars feeding a master calendar, a hospital that needs HIPAA paperwork, a government site with formal WCAG requirements — that's who Trumba is built for, and the price reflects real capability.
- Event registration with payments is a core requirement. Trumba does full registration and ticketing with payment processing. We don't; we're a calendar.
- You have budget for professional onboarding and want a vendor who provides it as a service.
Where Hunt Calendars is the better fit
- You need a shared calendar, not a platform. If the job is "everyone can see the schedule, the right people can edit it, and it shows on our website," that job costs $4.95 a month here — not $99.95 plus seats.
- Everyone edits, nobody is a "seat." Trumba charges $30/month per additional editor. Every Hunt Calendars plan includes unlimited members with permissions, so the whole volunteer roster can pitch in at no extra cost.
- Support shouldn't be billable. Trumba's client services run $200/hour after the included two. Ours is a person who answers the phone, free, on every plan.
- You want to start today. No onboarding project, no setup call required — groups are typically up and running in minutes.
“I think your calendar service is much better than any of the others I have seen out there and much less complicated. Since I am not a programmer it was easy to set up… Thanks for eliminating the techno garble.”
